new deck and stairs

After (Jon is going to put paver blocks under the deck and around so that we don't have animals nesting underneath the deck)

I came home from work and told Jon that i was to tiered but i had enough strength to tell him what to rip out of yard!!!!! :) We had a lot of over grown plants and half dead tress on our property!!!

this is the garden on the side of our house that was WAY over grown.....cuz if you didn't know i have a green thumb :) obviously not!!!

Well i decided that i wanted to plant my new bulbs i bought in that mess of weeds.....and since i didn't like anything that grew there this past year so i asked Jon to use his graple on his skid loader and just take off the top layer and rip out the roots.....

but all of the sudden Jon switch to a scoop on his skid loader and started removing all the dirt.......i ran over waving my arms and yelling stop....WHAT ARE YOU DOING?????!!! He said that the people who owned the house before us was using the dirt as insulation,........dirt is not insulation.........so now no more garden and now we have a huge pile of dirt in our front yard!

then he decided to take out the little deck next to our front door

this is our well....if you can't see it! there is a huge, ugly, over grown bush over it. now it's gone and looks much better :)
